FALCONS

Gyrfalcon

  • Large white to gray falcon with dark streaks and bars.
  • Artic to subartic distribution.
  • Saker Falcons are a subspecies of the Gyrfalcon found in the mountains and deserts of the Middle East and Asia.
  • Tend to not tolerate warmer temperatures.
  • Thought by some to be the "ultimate falcon".
